THE EXPERIENCE
Firefly sits on 10+ acres on the North Shore of Dead Lake. Formerly White Haven resort, the property is known for it’s ideal location and 1,200 feet of shore on this crystal clear lake. The mature trees are like a canopy above you offering a shady oasis. The cabins are near the water’s edge, which are hard to come by these days.
A community room with a wet bar is available to all cabin owners to host bigger gatherings. The playground is an additional space for the kids to enjoy if they need a break from their lake activities.
Each cabin includes one boat slip and additional 10 x 10 storage unit. HOA fees are low and include year round service. For just $185 a month the yard care, dock service, fiber high speed internet to each cabin, firewood, road repairs, trash removal and snow removal, septic flushing and more are taken care of for you. A complete HOA inclusion list can be provided by request.
The cabins will be assigned a unique parcel ID and has common interest shares of the community use property.
THE CABINS
The cabins are newly built and feature smart technology, allowing you to check on your cabin remotely from your mobile device. All cabins will have Fiber high-speed internet so you can work remotely from the lake. They’re built to be energy efficient and offer you the most in modern lake-style living.
LAKEVIEW CABINS
These new construction cabins feature two-story living, with the option to choose between three-floor plans that feature 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with washer/dryer, and an open living layout. The cabins will have modern finishes with a lake-style design. Additional features being a polished/heated concrete floor on the main, with wood floors in the loft, smart technology, and high-speed internet.
LAKESHORE CABINS
There are 8 cabins along the lakeshore, some feature two bedrooms, while others just one. They all have a storage loft, with stunning lakeside windows to bring in a lot of natural light. These cabins are open floor plan and offer a cozy, yet comfortable space for hosting. The largest lakeshore cabin is 958 sq ft, while the smallest is 330 sq ft.

Dead Lake is 7545.69 acres located in central Otter Tail County approximately three miles south of Dent, MN. The maximum depth is 65 feet with a water clarity of 5.8 feet. The lake is home to a vast species of fish and is known for it’s great fishing. You can find black bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, brown bullhead, burbot, green sunfish, hybrid sunfish, large mouth bass, northern pike, pumpkin seed, rock bass, small mouth bass, tullibee (cisco), walleye, yellow bullhead, yellow perch, bigmouth buffalo, bowfin (dogfish), common carp, white sucker, banded killifish, blackchin shiner, blacknose shiner, bluntnose minnow, brook stickleback, fathead minnow, golden shiner, Iowa darter, Johnny darter, mimic shiner, sand shiner, spottail shiner. There is truly a fish for everyone in this lake! Dead Lake is a popular lake with Largemouth Bass anglers. Several permitted bass tournaments are held annually on Dead Lake.
Dead Lake is also a popular recreational lake. Being one of the larger lakes in the area, there is plenty of room for boating, skiing, wake surfing, tubing and more. There are several islands and bays to discover for recreational enjoyment or great fishing. There are four public accesses on the located on basically each corner of the lake for easy access to whichever side of the lake you want to be on.
Dead Lake is close to two small communities: Dent and Ottertail. Both have a few dining options and gas stations. Perham is a larger town just a bit farther away that has more dining options, shopping, grocery stores, etc.
